Seeing a little slushy snow sticking on the highway cams from Central Vancouver Island. Looks like the snow level is around 3-400m around Gold River

It does looks a bit sloppy out there.

At least spring weather is on the way next week.

Yes, they are very dry (though someone is always experiencing a dry spell in the US given how large and diverse the country is): https://www.drought.gov/current-conditions

It looks like all the precipitation is up the Yukon...

July, August, and September were wetter than normal in 2015. 2015 was a very active fire season for the Spring, but quickly died down once summer got going. June is really a Spring month in BC since it's so much cooler than July and August.

Yup can confirm we have been seeing wet snow mixed in with rain all morning long. A bit less so now. Pretty much what I had called for yesterday. No way I’ll have accumulations. That said I’m curious about tonight if it will changeover completely to wet snow. Then I might have a chance.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Looking at the CPC the 6-10 and the 8-14 day it's looking warm and dry as far as the eye can see after today's rain and the cold nights this weekend. This long range forecast looks like April 2004 and even a bit like last year which we saw a very dry April.
