Haha. That is ****ing disgusting. Get ready for more of this. I'm thinking Kelowna starts hitting 40C somewhere down the road not too far.

Looks like the lower mainland had a decent rainfall overnight. We had nothing over here. It just skipped right over us.
That mid June heat I mentioned is looking more likely to build to our east. Another blast of heat for the prairies perhaps

Yep that heat signal is fading and now its just kind of meh once again, which for some of us is perfect. Lots of partially sunny days and a few overnight rains.

Its interesting how the eastern island is ground zero for most snow events but can't buy a drop of rain in the summer.

Perfect in my books, means lots of growing grass for the sheep and no work watering.
Just a few mm of rain over the last couple of days but it's very dark out there right now, hoping for some more today.

The interesting thing is that Kelowna has only ever hit 40° once in 122 years of records, and that was back in 2003. The airport station has never hit 40°.

Re: June 2021 Fotecasts And Discussions
I remember that unfortunate summer far too well. That was also the year of Europe's deadliest recent heatwave I believe.
