I'll take that, right over my neighborhood!

It's interesting though, that YVR is hardly ever the provincial hotspot. Less than once per year, at 0.64 days per year. By contrast, Agassiz is the hotspot 10 times more often, at 6.3 days per year. Same goes for Victoria (YYJ) and Abbotsford (YXX), both at 6.5 times per year.

0.64 days per year is less than Puntzi Mountain (0.76), Fort Nelson (4.86), Sparwood (0.76), Dawson Creek (0.93), and Port Hardy (0.75). So you could say Vancouver is colder than Fort Nelson, Dawson Creek, etc.

Quite the band that just threaded the needle between Seattle and Portland. I'm guessing some folks got lightning strikes down there. So far I'm not seeing anything that looks capable of penetrating our iron dome of exciting weather.

Judging by this, we may have a shot around 6 pm. After that it dries out in a hurry and we get 2 weeks of sun.

Well, that was exciting.

Had some rain around 5:30pm but not much else.

If we ever hype anything up you know it's going to be a nothing burger. It almost has to be #surprises it seems. :dunno:
