For Sunday I'm thinking:

28c-30c at YVR/Coastal Richmond/South Delta
33c-35c in Vancouver/East Richmond/North Van/West Van/South Surrey/White Rock
35c-37c in East Van/Burnaby/New West/North Delta/West Coquitlam
37c-39c in North Surrey/East Coquitlam/Poco/North Surrey/Ridge Meadows/Langley
39c-41c in the Fraser Valley
What about Lytton and Lilloet? They're usually at least 2 or 3 degrees hotter then the Fraser Valley.

It's a long way off but relief on the 12z Euro. It's going to be almost 10 days before 850 temps below 15 celsius.

For now I'll go with 42c-44c on Sunday, possibly 1-3c warmer on Monday.

Weather.com has a high of 45c for Chilliwack on Monday. EC has it topping out at 40c. EC has overnight lows at an even 20c for Vancouver for the next 4. I bet it's higher then that! If that 45c verifies to put it into perspective Monday's high forecast for :
Tuguegarao city Philippines(known as the hottest city in the Philippines)- 37c (but with RH of around 80%)
New Delhi-40c
Dubai-41c
Las Vegas- 43c
Chilliwack-45c
Riyadh-46c ( dang almost had it beat!)

Brrrr…I noticed it was much cooler at YVR today compared to surrounding stations. I was on Bridgeport Rd by Costco earlier around 2:30 and my car was reading 28-30 so you don’t have to go very far inland today to get some decent heat

It's hilarious to see Chilliwack in between Las Vegas and Riyadh

I don't think the models are very good at taking into account the deep canyons (or perhaps it's the failure to pick up how much the mountains to the west block the coastal influence) because they tend to really under-forecast the extreme heat in the canyon. They'll often given Kamloops several more degrees of heat when reality ends up being the opposite. EC is good about correcting for this, but still, even they don't always get the canyon right.

Currently 39 in Lytton, 38 in Lillooet, and 37 at Pemberton...

Whatever the temperatures are, this summer is not looking promising for clean air. When heat like this sets up you ain't getting any true rainy patterns until fall. I just went out and bought a bunch of N95s to prepare...tired of feeling that terrible heavy lung feeling.
