This heat is ridiculous and unbelievable. Yesterday driving home on Highway 1 in Langley I rolled my windows down stuck my arm out the window and no word of a lie it felt like I was sticking my arm inside an oven. The vehicle thermometer said 40c

When everything's said and done, I think Lytton (or Lillooet, Ashcroft, Cache Creek, etc.) and not some place in the Fraser Valley is likely to be the hottest town in Canada.

It's nuts, but the models have basically been saying that all along. It seemed impossible to believe, but not after yesterday. We only need to increase by 4.4C over yesterday's high to reach 44C. YXX is already up 3.5C over yesterday morning, and tomorrow will likely be even hotter than today.

My low was 21.9C this morning. Currently 31.7C.
