KBLI back up to 37. Very odd to see this sort of increase this late in the day. Heat low moving north? Triple digit high after 6:00 pm?
It's called clown range for a reason.

Someone needs to contact EC to either check that station for a malfunction or reinstate the Vancouver city hall station (or somewhere in east Van) as the official station for the city because it's beyond a joke at this point.

YVR seems suspect to me at this point.

I agree. this is a complete misrepresentation and bordering false info. It should classified RICHMOND. This needs to change. :x

It's idiotic. And that's the official station for the city so when it's shown on the news today it'll only read as 31.7c in Vancouver. Very misleading.

Yay!!!  Now I really feel justified in being hot.

Thanks for posting C79, I looked before the 6 pm update and it was 39.6. Interesting as it started cooling down here at 5.

Completely agree - its essentially misinformation and even a misrepresentation for Richmond.

Should honestly just be called Sea Island station.

The one time you want it to get hotter! Good luck!

CBC had a video how to make a a/c unit for $30, 5 gallon bucket with ice cubes in it, cut a hole in the top lid, put the fan blowing in and cut a hole in the side, put a pvc pipe in it (not sure why you can't just have a hole...) and there you go, cheap cooling. If you want the construction details there's here: https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/701773379804

There is also a problem with the White Rock station. It's only reporting 30c when all other stations around it are between 35 to 38c
