Now this is nice! Currently 22c outside.
Quite a strong wind developing. It's actually swaying my blinds on the windows.
Feels good!
Still 27 inside... dang it's taking a long time to disperse or transfer the heat!

How do you post tweets like that. There is a time lapse of that fire on Twitter and it’s an absolute beast. Must have burned through thousands and thousands of hectares. The fire north of lillooet that flared up today is already over 12000 acres. My mom texted me from Watch Lake and reported ash and burnt pine needles falling. I assured her it wasn’t close by.

Look at the root or main twitter post.
There will be 3 dots... in the right corner. Select that, then an option menu pops open. Then you can select 'embed tweet', then it opens a new page, then scroll to the top and you will see the embed link. Copy it, and paste it direct into your comment field on this forum as you make your post and it will appear.

I don’t get the “embed tweet” option. Perhaps I have to change my settings. Anyway that guy has some incredible time lapse video of the pyrocumulonimbus cloud north of Kamloops lake.

Okay I figured it out I think. Thanks. You actually have to go to the Twitter website. I was using the app on my phone. No embed tweet option on the app apparently

With the increased heat comes difficulties in fighting fires as well:

BC Wildfire Service

UPDATE: We are signing off for the evening with an update on the Sparks Lake wildfire (K21001) that is now estimated at 2300 hectares. The fire saw significant growth throughout the day because of the hot weather and dry conditions in the area. Due to the fire behaviour on site, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) has issued an Evacuation Alert for 150 properties in the Deadman, Red Lake, Tranquille Valley and Vidette Lake areas.
Smoke has become increasingly visible to the surrounding communities. Sustained 24 hour response continues and 20 personnel will continue to work throughout the night. The hot weather continues to bring challenges to the fire in multiple ways, not only for the ground personnel but also the aeriel resources. Today on the fire, multiple helicopters had to shut down due to their engines overheating. Suppression efforts where also impacted due to the helicopters restricted lifting capacity in this heat, limiting the amount of water they can put in their buckets at a time.
For more information and a map of the state of local emergency and evacuation area, please visit: https://www.tnrd.ca/services/emergency-services/
For more information about this incident, please refer to the Wildfires of note webpage: ow.ly/Ig5r30rMdbz
