Long streaks with daily precip <1mm are common in the summer. YVR needs to top 41 days before this streak enters the top 10.

GFS and Euro show another heat wave at the end of the month. My guess is the smoke arrives with it.

There is growing concern that the fire may get pretty close to the town of Oliver.

So many towns affected, and lots of fire season left to go.

Just horrible. Looking at the Euro, it was showing NE flow at 850mb at the end of the month. We know what that means.

Not close to the last one. Thankfully. Probably mid to low 30s inland, high 20s on the coast.

The nice thing about that 40C heat wave these 'heat' waves they're talking about don't even worry me.

I see some rain west of Vancouver Island on the radar...it's disappearing as it hits land but...

Hoping it makes it this far so EC can verify their 30% of showers tonight. :mehrain: :mehrain: I think I'll go out and do a rain dance tonight

Low-mid 30's inland. Mid-upper 20's by the water. Subject to change of course.
