It gives me hope that it's getting closer, it's been hanging out at the end of the forecast for a while now.

Kristy Gordon is saying the smoke is going to blow in to the coast by the end of the week. 😩

I wonder if there's a bit out outflow in the upper levels as there's a thin layer of smoke towards Hope stretching from the NE to the SE. unless it's just pollution.

Is that rest stop at the bottom of the coke near Merritt still closed? I know someone mentioned it was still closed.
I read the Indian band took it over and was going to do something with it l assume it's still vacant.
Wicked stop for ice cream use to stop there all the time.

Tough to say. The flow remains pretty steady out of the SW at 850mb and from the S at 700mb. I suppose there could be a chance of smoke from the fires to our south.

Some monsoonal moisture from the SW trickles it's way up here at the end of the GEM.

Looks convective too.

Support seems to be growing for the flow to tap into some monsoonal moisture later in the weekend. Gonna get thundery in the interior, hopefully it comes with rain.

The upper level pattern looks so weak next week I have a feeling that ULL is going to spin off the coast for days. Perhaps back off to the west the way last nights euro suggested.
