It can get much much worse (September 2020 for example).

Not sure what he's talking about but the AQI is below 100 all over Vancouver.

I've already kind of forgotten last September but I don't think the surface smoke was as thick since the fires were quite a bit further away. I don't remember feeling as much lung irritation. It's already getting bad in the lungs.

Nearing 200 in some areas with near 300 in the E Valley. This smoke is very bad.

Found a screenshot I took on September 11th last year. Got close to if not more than 200 in Vancouver.

Smoke mostly gone by Saturday morning in the Lower Mainland and the afternoon for the Island. :thumbup:
