Ok the ridging is back in the LR but the short range looks much better especially on the GEM.

I think we may get lucky this time and avoid another heat wave next weekend. The ridge modelled to develop offshore looks to stay offshore until it weakens. The pattern has a bit of a La Nina vibe to it. :thumbup:

Yeah, looking at the ensembles last night, the Op was definitely an outlier.

On the GEM? Yeah it was cold for sure and out of step with the euro. But maybe it's on to something, one can dream.

Winds are definitely going to be factor in the interior on Tuesday. Hopefully the precip intensity and higher humidity will be enough to combat that.

Yes, both last night and today the GEM Op is an outlier, but hopefully it is on to something. The Ops are run at a higher resolution for a reason after all.
