Highway 1 between Lytton and Spences Bridge looked similar to that when I traveled thru a few weeks ago. Visible flames on the hill/mountainside near the highway and railway.

Welp, the interior in general was the go to place to retire now l'm not sure anymore.
The threat of loosing your home or just the stress and smoke could cause health issues. Maybe the Island or far north l don't know anymore.

I think 3, 5A and 99 are still open thankfully.

I recall a couple days sometime in early-mid Feb 2017 when all routes from Vancouver to the interior were closed due to the snow and ice storm.

Yes Atlin is quite cold all year and with the long winters since it is near 60N.

One of the best climates in BC in my opinion but I'm a polar wanker so... :whistley:

We should have a Vancouver vs Atlin climate battle and find which way the forum's public opinion sways.

November thru February is godly in Atlin but I'd lend Vancouver my vote because I value the other 8 months of the year.
