Thank you, next Thursday would be better.
Much more rain and I'm going to have to bail some out of my fish pond or they'll be escaping.

Will crosspost in the weather stats thread but as promised a while back, here's a graph of overall precip during warm season (June-September) and height of summer (July+August) in Abbotsford since records began in 1936.

Not just early season. 50.9mm at YVR is fairly impressive for any rainstorm, even in November. I counted 59 of the 84 years at YVR, there were no days with over 50mm of rain.

Re: September Forecasts And Discussions
That’s truly incredible. Drier climate down this way (clearly evident if one looks at long-term averages).
Still looks like I’m going to be moving north before the year is out, so I’ll soon be on the receiving end of that enhanced precipitation (hopefully in terms of white stuff; the Greater Vancouver area is past due for a snowy winter).
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: September Forecasts And Discussions
Interesting how since around 1985 the trend has been downward with precip amounts ~40-50% less. In that same time period, much less snow with a downward trend as wellTypeing3 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 1:13 am Will crosspost in the weather stats thread but as promised a while back, here's a graph of overall precip during warm season (June-September) and height of summer (July+August) in Abbotsford since records began in 1936.

Could these be related > Less precip in summers and milder/less snow in winter?
