Yup. I remember that place since I grew up in Kelowna. I remember--and went to it--as a kid when it was called Wild n' Wet. And that of course was when West Kelowna was known as Westbank. But although I haven't been to the ones on Cultus, they look a little more adventurous than Wild n' Wet or even the waterslides at Flintstones in Kelowna back in the day (which is now a parking lot).

Trans Canada slides out on Hwy. 1 works on a hot day if you don't wish to fight with the Cultus lake traffic for us valley folks.

Go I spent 1 1/2 hours in the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal this afternoon, it was hot! no thermometer on my car so don't know how hot but I sure wouldn't have minded some snow. Has anyone else noticed that cottonwood looks like snow? I love watching that too.

But ideally the plant should be shielded from any direction other than south or southwest.

Finally, 29.9C in YVR yesterday! This is the 4th highest max in June since 1937!

This is also the hottest day since June 30, 2013.

Well, I'm back at home now and looked at my thermometer - it hit 94F here... Crazy!

Yeah not sure, my thermometer is in the shade for sure, but I might play with the locations a bit too and move it around to try to get the best spot.
