I was complaining once about the lack of reliable precipitation stations, and the comments I got were, "rain gauges are outdated, we should just use radar to record precipitation!"

The fact this Halloween weekend is dry and beautiful after all the rain we received I can’t complain at all.

Looking at the latest Euro weeklies. It does seem like we will see a ridgy period at some point in November and potentially into December. If we end up smack in the centre of an amplified ridge at this time of year, it will likely mean lots of fog.
