I'm all better... my son got the Covid test yesterday, but no word on results yet. We figure if he tests positive, then we all had it, and vise versa.

Turns out that it's Covid. We picked it up from our double vaccinated renter. Everyone in my house is feeling better except my son, but he got it latter than the rest of us.

Oh wow Glace, so vaccines do work if it only ended up kinda mild or flu like.

Even without the vaccine that's what covid is like for most people, especially in the younger age cohorts.

It definitely can be worrying for those with underlying conditions and/or older age cohorts though.

My wife and I were about the same sick and she's not vaccinated. My oldest son had it the worst and he's also not vaccinated. My youngest son who is too young to get the shot had the mildest case of all of us.

It's absolutely crazy case counts never seem to come down, we are stuck in an endless Covid cycle.

Covid will likely be with us for a long time if not forever. This is why these tyrannical restrictions are unreasonable and need to end.

It's endemic. I'm pretty sure most people expected that.

With that said, what we did not expect is lockdowns and restrictions remaining in place long past their due dates (or worsening - i.e. vaccine passports) , especially in societies that are perceived as democratic.
