Heavy shower around 9:30 dropped temps from about 6c to 4c in 30 mins. I suspect the upper levels of Westwood plateau had a bit of wet snow with that one.

Been fairly dry since then but looks like another shower
is pushing through. Currently 4.2c here.

That's a quick temp drop. Been sitting at 4.2 for most of the evening here.

I missed a hail shower while I was at a friends. Couldn't figure out what the crunchy things on the deck were when I got home in the dark...definitely not fond of time changes.

They claim to enjoy it. I consider it a strange type of enjoyment, given how cranky the typical outcome (i.e. a rug pull) makes the typical model rider.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Looking like a possible early start of ski season. The warm-up is looking fairly brief now.

Yes looks quite troffy..and like Novembers used to be. Transient ridging due to colder SST's? #tat due to colder SST's?  Your thoughts pls Nito?
I am loving the colder SST's this year heading into winter...FINALLY!
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Is the anomalous warmth/cold SSTs dividing line in the E Central Pacific the cause of these recent and repeated bombs forming? If it is I hope the SSTs stay consistent right through the next 90 days. Yessss
