Tonight I was able to get the new forum working! I still haven't transferred to the new forum. The new forum is still using data from September so I need to transfer that over. I wonder if some people should test it first before we switch this over to the new one and before I transfer the database frm this server to that server?
Awesome news!!!! I'm always in favour of testing things out, just in case.

...and it's raining again. At least the sun was out all day here.

Nice shift..and once again a minor blip on our way to a snowy and cold winter. The 850s stay mostly cool and below seasonal other than a couple of temporary spikes. Much different than previous Novembers of 850s riding high mostly. Stay positive Nito

For those interested in testing the forum, you can do so by editing your hosts file. Right now I have the following lines in my hosts file
#137.184.12.223 forums.bcstorms.ca
#137.184.12.223 bcstorms.ca
The "#" means it's commented out which means your computer will ignore that line. If you want to test by uncommenting the lines you can go like this
137.184.12.223 forums.bcstorms.ca
137.184.12.223 bcstorms.ca
In Windows you can find the hosts file at: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts. On Mac/Linux I believe it's /etc/hosts. When you modify the hosts file and add those two lines two it, remember you have to either use the commented version or delete the lines entirely from the file otherwise your computer will point to the test forum.

Environment Canada lied AGAIN!!! :fire: This is the fourth time they have forecast snow overnight, and when I wake up its bone dry on the ground. https://www.castanet.net/news/Vernon/35 ... ley#351295

Last year we had lots of snow, and this year nothing so far.

The precipitation never materialized last night. Looks like another dry day until later this afternoon.

Can confirm it is /etc/hosts on Linux and Mac.
It's called clown range for a reason.

This is actually quite easy to achieve in the Rockies. In coastal areas, not so much.
