I do remember very well over 200 mm storm totals during the Thanksgiving 1984 AR that flooded the Pemberton Valley, Meager creek went on a rampage that time too. I also remember even higher amounts over a 2 and 3 days during the October 2003 AR for areas north of Squamish. It was up to 350mm in some areas. Nov 1990 also had high totals and major flooding. Then there was the Jan 2005 AR which was worse due to it following a major cold snap with snow on the ground. Bella Coola received 200mm in a 2 day period in September 2010. And it was just one month ago that Port Mellon along Howe Sound received a whopping 340 mm of rain over a 3 day period.

From the Thabksgiving 1984 heavy rain event. Wow look at those 5 day totals from Upper Squamish and Port Mellon. That woild be like this AR we just had, except lasting another full day!
