Shutting down the Pacific jet is a huge step and it seems to be virtually guaranteed at this point. We will see what the downstream results are.

I'm having a heck of a time getting anything shipped today. Most carriers have stopped picking up shipments unless they are being delivered local (West of Abby).

Just saw this on CBC news.

"According to CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe, the rain coming this week to the province's southern coast will last longer than the rain event that caused chaos last week. The affected area could see up to 100 millimetres by the weekend."
