The Oilers have struggled the last 2 games playing without Nurse and Keith. Pulled out a win yesterday though. I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the Keith trade during the summer, but he has been an absolute pleasant surprise. He plays a secondary role now and that's just fine.

I'm not even sure I can get excited about it the way this season has gone. But USA vs Canada will certainly be intriguing.

It'll be way more exciting than the Canucks, that's for sure.

I'm definitely worried about the USA and Russia (maybe in the knockout round). Wonder what the score will be vs China.

Haven't really thought about it, but Cale Makar would be a must with his explosive skating and offense talents from the back end to go along with Mcdavid, shades of Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey. And of course Makar's teammate McKinnon is no slouch ,probably right behind Mcdavid.

Crazy how it's his best start of his career! It has become easier to score in recent years, but still, age 36 and 2nd in scoring is just crazy!

Green still coach? Look at Calgary,new coach Daryl Sutter paying huge dividends , albeit it's his 2nd rodeo with calgary, but had some really good success with L.A. a few years ago. Calgary wasn't much better than Vancouver last year , now they're world beaters .All players have totally bought into Sutter's defensive/quick transition system, just look at Johnny Geaudreau, only 1 goal against 5on5 in 19 games, that's crazy good.
