Having the military involved helps to speed up the process. If there was a base still in Chilliwack I bet temporary fixes could've been completed even faster.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:00 pm Wow! That's unexpected after what I've heard and seen. Not sure if want to drive on it![]()

Is this AR going further south than forecast? Seems like most of the moisture is just south of us?

End of January seems optimistic. Unless there is some ridge that parks over BC from December to February.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:00 pm Wow! That's unexpected after what I've heard and seen. Not sure if want to drive on it![]()

Moving north again... looks like another 6 hours of moderate rain this evening. Probably close to 60 mm for Abbotsford in total.

I thought that was the message conveyed in the media.
Could be wrong though.

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
At least this AR doesnt have temps sitting between 8c to 12c like so many other AR events in recent years would have been in late November. I mean recent years would have seen those high temps well into December in many cases too. So 3c this morning to 6c tonight is not bad...due to cooler SSTs? Right Nito??
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Look at that triple Low attack sliding up the coast outside of Vancouver Island from December 7 to 10. Last bombs down to 95.+ for 24 hours.
Good thing it is only 12 to 15 days away
We dont need to see that set up again.
Thor - We got to keep the bombs away...We got to keep the bombs at bay

Re: November 2021 Forecasts and Discussions
Yes but heavy rain at 4c means snow in the mountains. Heavy rain at 10c is usually rain even at the peaks = more flooding.
And its pumbled..thanks anyways. Just the same as i spell hammmmered
