12z GSF is picking up some snow Sun-Mon and massive snow event on Wed next week.

The models (over the last few days) have been hinting at cold onshore flow (COF) for next week. Can't say I'm not getting a tiny bit excited about that prospect.

Weird how consistently out of tune the GFS OP has been with its own ensembles, as they continue to slowly trend warmer in the Saturday-Monday timeframe. And the GEM and ECMWF too.

This happens every winter. Mildly infuriating how it loves to tease the PNW.
