This is crazy ,thermometer still not budging from 4.5°,a little concerning, feels like deja vu,in other words rug pulled with a possible concussion.

Mine's been stuck on 1.2c for most of the evening but way better than 4.5c. If having a stern word with it doesn't work, have you tried unplugging it? That's always my go to for troublesome electronics.
