Are we thinking tendency to overdo the warmup meaning this is less marginal than it looks?

Goodbye 1st floor exit. I'll have to use my bedroom window to exit my house.

In 2008 we had a few sliders that they predicted would be the end of the cold snap and turn to rain but didn't happen.Just warmed up to around freezing if my memory is correct.

I was at my parents place in east ladner this morning and the high temp was -0.8c at midnight. Been hovering around -3/-4c since mid morning. I’m still hopeful that we get one more burst of snow this evening/overnight but im already more than satisfied with what we got last night and this morning so any additional snow is just a bonus

I would think so, yes. Would like to see more of a trend west with the arctic air into the interior so we can get a bit of modified stuff trickle out towards the south coast in behind that system.

Ideally we want to see that trough hugging the coastline more. Don't want it digging too far offshore.

7+ days out so it doesn't matter at this point of course.

Did a walkabout of QE park. Looks like they have 5-6" on the ground. Nice day for a post-snow walk.
