Still think 4" (i.e. 10 cm) is a likely upper bound in my area, but there will be no complaints from me if that expectation is shattered.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 11:33 am I will take one order of 7" in Vancouver please. Plus a couple repeat orders in January.

Re: December 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
I think most models are going for 3-4" as a 10:1 ratio in the city proper. 7" from Euro is certainly on the high side but I'd expect 4-6".Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 11:44 am Still think 4" (i.e. 10 cm) is a likely upper bound in my area, but there will be no complaints from me if that expectation is shattered.

If the higher trend persists in the models through this afternoon, I will start believing.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 11:53 am I think most models are going for 3-4" as a 10:1 ratio in the city proper. 7" from Euro is certainly on the high side but I'd expect 4-6".

Considering I’ve started to feel pretty sick today out of nowhere.
Just let it dump snow since I won’t have to worry about the drivers

10-15 cm. looks more and more realistic now. 18z 3km Nam support that. 12km even in the 20 cm rangeRubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 11:44 am Still think 4" (i.e. 10 cm) is a likely upper bound in my area, but there will be no complaints from me if that expectation is shattered.

Re: December 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
I'm gonna put this out there. If we clear out fast enough tomorrow PM, with the fresh snow and a bit of outflow behind the system, we might squeak out -10 before 10 PM which would extend the streak.

It's happening
The last minute positive swings are almost never wrong. I'm better they continue trending upward throughout the day. 15-25 widespread with localized amounts of even more is still not out of the question.
