Are ice bombs still an issue with the colder temps?

I don't know but I think with afternoon temps forecast to be around -2/-3 and sun, it'll cause problems.

From what I can remember, ice bombs tend to be in the news when there are sloppy, right-near-the-freezing-mark snows.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Ice bombs will probably not be a problem at those temperatures if they are actively clearing the cables.

Northern update: It's snowing and -25c. The snow is incredibly fluffy. I wonder what the ratio is here?
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

Here is the foot of snow over Port Mann Bridge. Most other areas are 1" - 2" below that.

Rubes if this pans out you'll have brought your luck over from Bellingham for sure. That's 3" in KBLI looks like, very little south of that, and a Vancouver special.
