I agree, but since 2008 we have had many encores. I think Sunday will deliver a potent punch.

So odd, growing up in the 90s, every single cold snap and snow event came and went, but 2008 was the start of bizzare weather full of surprises. I think snow events in general have been far more interesting in the 21st century.

I don't know after living in Metro Vancouver all my life you can almost sense when a arctic blast is coming to an end. l hope we get more surprises but...?

That's pretty good combined snowfall at the pond in south Sardis l have 25cm on the ground including Christmas day storm, some has compacted of course.

Yes but it also gets less rain and wind than Gibsons and Langdale so it's not all bad.
