EC has now worded it as mixed rain and snow for many areas. Uh oh Nito. Warmth is watered down. If it gets watered down one more step.. it will be snow in many areas. Their next update will occur after we start getting pumbled
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Do you play the lottery? You’re so optimistic when everything points to rain.

Yeah, if we got lots of snow now people would be really stuck as there is no salt. That and some clearing companies are losing staff to Omicron.

Did Environment Canada say this storm was suppose to start this morning? Pretty sure I read the forecast last night and they said this evening. But I have a bunch of people telling me I’m wrong and it was suppose to be snowing all day.

EC says a lot of things.

Up until Wed, the models seemed to be advertising a potential snow event for the LM this weekend starting today at noon. Even now, models are continuing to peel back moisture totals the entire weekend.

00Z NAM is running and keeps the front semi-stationary near the Central Island until very late Sun.

Just not a lot of moisture to work with on the south coast tonight.

Latest HRRR shows Victoria being the snowiest lowland place on the south coast over the next 2 days. What a goofy model.
