Yep, or just snow to sunny warmup! That’s my dream scenario for a warmup, enjoy it as much as the snow itself.

-14.0C with a -17.1C dew. Snow tapering off now but had some pretty heavy flakes for a bit earlier. :clap:
It always snows in December in the Kootenays :clap:

Isn't this what you would call an arctic reload? Having trouble believing that the newly arrived cold air will only last 24 hrs.

Well l guess to begin with we have a fairly deep layer of cold air in the fraser valley. According to that map posted it looks like ZR from Metro Vancouver to the valley. My 4th winter out here so haven't experienced an ice storm here, just that one couple weeks back Mission Dec/17 was bad enough.

So I was surprised to see fresh snow since midnight. Apparently there was a bit of snow kicked up by the arctic front?

My guess is that we remain snow longer than modelled. :thumbup:
