I haven't seen Monty on this morning. I am curious to know how much the Shawnigan Lake area got last night. I'm thinking close to 30 cm.

About 27cm. Would of hit 30 if not for the ice pellets that kicked in around 1am.

Went outside and wow! We got walloped! And it’s actually been dry with a trace of freezing rain overnight. 24cm new snow, 43cm total depth!

Nice score and lol...Bobcat. Now that is how you push massive snows outa the way fast

Why is there no snow on the trees? Winds?

I woke up at 4 am to check and it had already stopped then. It didn't look like anymore accumulated from then up to 7 am when I measured.

Yeah, I noticed the same. I wonder if I measured in a bad area. Wind really makes it impossible to measure.

Me too! One more round of winter late Jan and early Feb, hopefully with cold starry nights this time. Then bring on the +12's and +16's by late Feb!!!!!
