I just saw this on Vanc. Isl. Weather Enthusiasts, "Kasia Bodurka on Global News said the fog is caused by the change in ocean currents from the tsunami". Is there any truth to this? We've had fog the past few days without a tsunami.

Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
The fog recently was cased by a combination of things: high pressure ridge overhead, stagnant air at the surface, and ample low level moisture.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 11:22 am I just saw this on Vanc. Re: January 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Mostly cloudy here but just got off a Zoom meeting and a friend reported mostly sunny conditions on Commercial Drive north of 1st.
It's called clown range for a reason.
