I’m sure you know melons like heat. Even more than a lot of the typical warm weather crops. I did well growing “ice box†watermelons on a trellis one summer. I grew melons last year, Farmer Woman's Collective. I only seem to manage to get one a year but I'm going to try again with melons instead of tomatoes this year.
