I think I've finally caught it. I wouldn't call it " mild" but definitely not severe yet either.

Thanks guys. I thought it was my reaction to the booster but that was just coincidence as cough and sore throat aren't side effects.

I will be honest I kind of deserved it. I played soccer on Saturday and didn't distance at certain points. I guess I've given up just like many other people and basically the provincial government. Let's get on with life and let the cards fall where they may

Thanks man I doubt it unless it becomes more severe. I've had a few friends with long haul and it's no joke.

Good point, I meant I have a few friends..more accurately a co worker, and bandmate and a friend's wife. My coworker has neurological side effects that are particularly concerning. Loss of memory, focus, etc. It's going to be interesting to see how the government treats these peoples conditions.

My son just tested positive with a rapid test cupla days ago, mainly sore throat and sniffles. Basically it seems like the covid vaccines work but they don't work. If I'm not mistaken I think the traditional type vaccines are more of a sure thing to prevent disease.

If vaccinations are mandatory then how on Earth are wedding and funeral receptions NOT allowed but theatre and movies are??
Makes no sense :x

Indoor organized gatherings

Indoor organized gatherings of any size are not allowed. Examples include:

Sponsored or ticketed parties, celebrations
Wedding and funeral receptions
Outdoor organized gatherings

Outdoor organized seated gatherings can have a capacity of 5,000 people or 50% capacity, whichever is greater.

For example, if the venue has a normal seated capacity of 30,000 people, 15,000 people can attend.

Indoor events at venues

Indoor events at venues can only have 50% capacity, no matter the size. Examples of indoor events at venues include:

Concerts, theatre, dance and symphony performances
Sports events and movies
Lectures, presentations and workshops
Sponsored and ticketed events
Everyone must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Yes these vaccines are effective against severe illness but they don't seem to prevent transmission or last long enough. Unfortunately they are the best we've got.

Have you experienced any symptoms? Hopefully your son didn't spread it to you.

This is definitely great for preventing the consumption of porters and stouts  a much needed dry streak.
