Valley likely wouldn't freeze until overnight Wednesday due to the wind. Assuming the clouds hold off early Thursday, sheltered areas of GVR and the island could see back-to-back freezes.

Don't worry its just October. I think we could use some sun though. This is the best time of year for warm anomalies and dry weather to go outside and enjoy the fall colours

Depending on position I would think a GOA low would generally be more seasonal and wet. An Aleutian low often brings the warmer SW flow or even ridging overhead if things amplify

Ensembles seem to have really cooled down in the long range today. Mean is pretty much bang on average now which probably hints at more of a cool/wet GOA low pattern rather than the mild/wet Aleutian low pattern.
