Wow. BC reports 18 deaths in 24 hours. Probably mostly older folks and immunocompromised. This variant is really starting to take people out.

The death rate is probably pretty stable since there are probably way more infections now than ever but it'll look as if it spiked since it's impossible to know how many people are covid-positive.

John did you drive truck? you seem pro convoy l agree with their reasoning but not the law breakers that are ruining the goal of the protest.

Not speaking for John but my personal stance/view it's less so about being pro-convoy but more importantly being in favour of dropping lockdown restrictions and vaccine passports/mandates. After all that does seem to also be the primary message and stance of the vast majority of protestors out there despite a couple of despicable displays (yes, they should 100% be condemned) that are of course still being continuously amplified way out of proportion by the mainstream media. They could definitely do a lot better giving more coverage to the 99% who are literally just minding their own business and protesting peacefully. However, what I found even more shocking is some good deeds are essentially getting no coverage at all -- has anyone seen any media reports done on the many protesters handing out free food for everyone, including the homeless? I've seen countless pictures and videos showing this happening circulating on youtube and social media, but... crickets by most if not all mainstream media outlets. Along with the gov't, it would seem they are instead far too focused on branding everyone attending the protest as occupiers, fascists, nazis, white supremacists, racists, domestic terrorist threats, etc, etc.

This is true Tman, it's been primarily negative which leads to my question whatever happened to fair and non bias reporting who is controlling the media? you sure heard about protesters taking food from the soup kitchen or the vandalism or defacing the Terry Fox monument.
