Having trouble caring this time around. I’m sure once it happens, I’ll be excited.

The forum is kind of "seasonal". Once we reach a certain point in the Spring, it mostly goes quiet. Maybe we can think of ways to keep people entertained and wanting to come back? Haha I don't know. It usually populates again late Summer/early Fall when we get the storms coming back.

Also I don’t see much in the way of snow, So this late in the season if there’s no snow it’s kinda like who cares to me.

I agree! I was thinking of starting some other threads in the off topic section that aren't political, as exciting as that topic is lol. Obviously the weather doesn't really create discussion when its 14C and partly cloudy with a slight breeze for 2 months. But I miss the activity here when it dies down. I prefer coming here to chat with people because its a smaller community and people are much more respectful than almost any other online forum.

Cold and dry is fine by me. We usually only get a couple cold snaps every winter so it's a nice change of pace from the usual 5c/rain/drizzle/etc.

Even if it's only for a few days, at least it will remind us - and the plants that are prematurely blooming  - that it is still winter.

Ditto. If there’s no snow, I’m kind of indifferent. I am happy for those that still follow and look forward to it though.

It’s looking quite likely that there could be some snow showers around the south coast on Monday before skies clear from the NE.

What do you want us to say though? Of course the winter is incredible in the samilkameens with elevation! Congratulations! You moved to an amazing spot. Most of us are stuck here in dudsville and not necessarily by choice.

If I won the lottery I would buy 50 acres in the mountains tomorrow. Until that happens I'll be here analyzing if the recent runs got a notch better, leading to a half hour more of mixed flakes.
