Looks like we'll break the record low pretty easily then.

Will be interesting if we can break it again tomorrow night; record is 1.1C from 1965 (another good winter analogue if I may add).

Hey everyone....what'd I miss? ;) I've been very ill. In and out of hospital with kidney problems. So I haven't been on the forum in a while. I felt too awful to check the weather...can you IMAGINE?! :wtf:

Anyway, I'm not back to myself yet but I'm getting there. I am at least wanting to follow the weather again so that's a good sign of life if you ask me. Forget normal vital signs. With me the doctors are like, "Heartrate is normal, blood pressure is good and she checked the forecast today."

It is a chilly 2.8C outside at the moment.
My in-laws are currently at their cabin at Paska Lake (between Merrit and Kamloops near Mile High Lodge) and they got DUMPED on with snow last night!

About a degree cooler than here; currently 2.8C. Looks like it's closer to 0C up the hill near catnip.

Good to see you on here. I hope you're healthy soon.

I've camped at Paska Lake. Quite high elevation. The highway was shutdown yesterday between Merritt and Kamloops because of the snow.

It was a total forecast fail here in Vernon last night. It was supposed to be -3, but it didn't' even hit zero. They say -5C tonight, which would be our first frost, but I won't hold my breath after 4 failed frost forecasts so far this month!

EDIT: Wow, temperature fell off a cliff in the last half hour. Down to -1.3C and dropping.

It stayed above freezing here as I predicted... low of 2.2C with a breeze all night.

I'm sure some of you must have hit freezing this morning.

I think there will be a better chance of a widespread freeze tonight since the wind looks like it will be lighter.

0.4C here so no freeze either. That rain shower that moved thru around midnight didn’t help
