I cleared the ice off the water buckets at 9 am this morning and it had a skim of ice by 2. More icebreaking tomorrow I guess.
Does that mean clearing ice 🧊 duty all night Ms. Onfrozencreeksagain.

Drove to Lethbridge today where it was sunny and -19C midday. Very nice weather with fresh powder. Not much but it was better than the big crusty snow piles here and even in Fernie.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Welp Ants 🐜 l didn't realize how snow starved Cranbrook is, l guess l was thinking it was equivalent to Revelstoke with roof top depth, or a snowbelt area.
I would move too unless it's a job issue of course.

Cranbrook is a pretty dry area with a mix of ponderosa pines and Douglas fir while Revelstoke is a rainforest with cedars and hemlock.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!
