I had frost in port kells. Live right next to a creek, not sure if that's a factor.

Don’t think the creek would make a difference to your temperature unless it’s maybe rather large. Would be similar to a neighbor having a swimming pool in their yard.

Frost is more likely were there is more moisture... but the air temperature doesn't actually have to hit freezing to get frost. You could have been +2C and still get frost.

I could have gotten frost this morning at 2.2C, but it was too dry here for frost.

When we talk about frost or a freeze on here, we usually mean the temperature reaches 0.0C or colder...

Leighbugs wrote: Wed Oct 09, 2019 12:13 am Hey everyone....what'd I miss? ;) I've been very ill. In and out of hospital with kidney problems. So I haven't been on the forum in a while. I felt too awful to check the weather...can you IMAGINE?! :wtf:

Anyway, I'm not back to myself yet but I'm getting there. I am at least wanting to follow the weather again so that's a good sign of life if you ask me. Forget normal vital signs. With me the doctors are like, "Heartrate is normal, blood pressure is good and she checked the forecast today."

It is a chilly 2.8C outside at the moment.
My in-laws are currently at their cabin at Paska Lake (between Merrit and Kamloops near Mile High Lodge) and they got DUMPED on with snow last night!
Get well soon leighbugs was thinking about posting your were abouts.
