Re: March 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Not surprised. The rain was very slushy here this morning. A little colder, or if the precip had been a little heavier, and it would have been wet snow.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: March 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Think there's less of a correlation between La Nina and any corresponding temp/precip anomalies for our region during summer.Roberts Creeker wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 4:43 pm What does a la Nina summer look like? Cool and wet?
Across North America I believe the strongest signal during a La Nina is for warmer and drier conditions across the south-central and midwestern US.

Correlation to another heat dome perhaps in June and then a massive AR event in November.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 11, 2022 4:53 pm Think there's less of a correlation between La Nina and any corresponding temp/precip anomalies for our region during summer.

Can't forgot an Arctic blast in late December oh can't forget dry as a bone from early January 2023 until March.

It basically is. Even got all the horses.
Very windy last night and it is still windy. Up to +5.4C with a -3.0C dew point now.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Re: March 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
It was quite troffy today and windy!
Felt like a crisp spring day. Snow levels stayed quite low too. And those graphs posted are kinda depressing TypingMan
Where are the bommy March temps?
