Potential summer analogue camps.

Goof grief if it's another 2021 l wouldn't be able to handle another heat dome. seems summer TS around here are a thing of the past in these parts, perhaps too dry.
Spring seems to deliver lately though.

Never ending troff..how many days running now?
I dont remember a stretch like this before with a troff being so stationary. Awesome!

(I should add with so many snow chances almost daily/consistently low DP's, considering the calendar dates)
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

If we get the impression that we're the only region that busts in the winter weather department, the blizzard forecast for Winnipeg was a bust. Water equivalent of 9mm. Forecast was 30-40cm of snow.

Back to the boring today. 2021 on this day +22.6, today, probably 7c.

Cloud from last night.

Yesterday I had tiny snowballs dropping down twice. They weren't like the frozen ice hail but white, light in weight and just like mini snowballs. Are they snow pellets? They were ~ 0.5+ cm.

Nothing unusual with the photo , just someone vaping nearby.

And the snow pellets were actually spitballs, sardineman was trying out his 1971 long range bic pen to see if it still works.

Speaking of odd I didn't know I was getting a 2 for 1 deal when I bought this tomato , found alfalfa sprouts growing inside

Mt Elphi (Elphinstone) often has snow on it. My favourite view is just as you turn down the mini-Coq (bypass) and see the north shore mountains.

That must be one of those fancy GMO plants, like the potatoes on the bottom and tomatoes on the top (disclaimer: it is actually a grafted plant and not GMO).

I am growing one that did that. I forgot about it in the cupboard, the cat likes to eat them so they get kept in the cupboard. I'll plant it outside when spring arrives and see how it does. I don't think it will do well because there are going to be a lot of plants in one small area.
