It felt quite chilly yesterday afternoon on the golf course. South Vancouver was just on the edge of that stationary cell so we had occasional sprinkles but mainly it was just cloudy, a little breezy, and felt below 5° the whole time.
2025-26 season stats:
Climo :cancel: ∞ to 0.5 :14clown: GFS

Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!
Peak depth: 0.5 cm (01/07/2026)

They'll come back, it's just the tips of the tops that are frozen. I plant them in the fall and they do really well..unless it freezes late in spring.

Couldnt even find one easter egg..apparently the Similkameens chickens dont start dropping them down when its so chilly out :| :|

Wind Warning Sunshine Coast

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected.

When: Late tonight into Monday morning.

Locations: Coastal regions near the Strait of Georgia.

Hazards: Southeast winds 70 km/h gusting to 90. Risk of tree limb breakage and power outages.

Strong southeasterly winds will develop ahead of an approaching weather system. Winds are expected to strengthen and reach 70 km/h gusting to 90 late tonight along coastal regions near the Strait of Georgia.

Strong southeast winds will ease Monday morning with the passage of the system.

That warning looks like something out of a sci fi movie Ms. Windwarningcreeks. :? calm winds in the central valley tonight.

I still think 2018 takes the cake, that one was just wow. Similar to June 2020, endless rain and wind.
