That's my favourite town in the province, a hidden gem. Would love to do a winter there, I bet that climate gets piles of snow.

Barkerville (7km away) averages 461cm per year, so Wells wouldn't be much different. Beautiful area.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

Wow Glace is that your vehicle in the ditch again.
stayed up there back in 2001 summer for 5 day's did the Barkerville tour. The eateries in Wells were like going to someone's house for a meal it was absolutely amazing l can't remember the motel we stayed at but we walked to the eateries but drove to Barkerville.

The wind was very good for softball tonight. We had 10 home runs because the wind carried the balls over the fence.

Bad location for the Herbert Island wind indicator Gooser between 2 hills creating a wind tunnel thus false readings.

Power outages overlapping our address but currently still have power. For whatever reason we never seem to get knocked out. Kind of hoping the kids schools remain without power so we can sleep in.
