Re: October 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
Never got the winds here that Abby Sr. had this afternoon, but now getting some gusty SW winds just had a gust to 40kmh, and 68.2mm in the rain bucket this month as Abby Sr. and l battle it out for the rainfall turtle derby.
WB Snowgrams, hoping for mega snow this year for your business.

GEM shows that ridge in the long range holding further west. Would result in cool dry northerly flow for us.

Yes I saw that but the ever popular Euro slides the ridge right over head.

Re: October 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
It was a rough day today . My sister n law lost her husband who also happened to be my golfing partner. He had shingles which attacked his lungs and caused pneumonia. Apparently internal shingles is quite rare. And unfortunately they were overseas on vacation so we couldn't lend them much support.Sardisbcwx wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:36 pm Where's Grumpalump when you need him.l know Johnny is probably in Alberta as a roadie for Greta.

Re: October 2019 Forecasts and Discussions
I suspect we see a little cold snap around Halloween. The theme of persistent blocking continues.

12z GFS less persistent with the ridge. It shows some storms breaking through from time to time later in the period.
