And thanks to the overwhelming responses that didn't come in :? :x on my name that mountain contest.
Here's a little factoid on the mountain it's quite a unique mountain both in elevation and location when l use to live in Mission you could say it was a mountain l could look up to driving home. We have so many mountains that l don't even know the names of due mainly to not visible to us. Through the summer l will try to un cover some of these hidden gems. Driving in the fraser valley l see many mountains on clear day's in the distance and they pique my interest.

Hoping Monty is o.k. haven't heard from him since March.
I know John's o.k. he pops in here when Gimps wakes him from his hibernation with his loud singing. :o
Latest radar image shows the rain should be tapering off in the fraser valley soon.

It's rained all day long... :( :(

I decided this was a good day for my traditional June fire in the woodstove. I often have to light it once in June and today was the day, probably not really cold enough but it's so damp and the fire is cheery.

One day summer has to arrive, right??? Right???

Good to see Tfreshet, need those cool temps, rivers and streams are running high enough. :o nail biting time the next couple of weeks. If it's not heat domes, extreme fire 🔥 danger. You know the province always wants to push the state of emergency button on something every year.

And the nice thing about rain all day in June is you can watch it fall for hours and hours because it never gets dark. ;) ;)
