Isn't that the truth TnoTS's l move to Chilliwack thinking l'll be in on some decent TStorms and wouldn't you know it everything that comes up heads further NE or over the mountains. l mean since l've been here outside of the odd rogue boomer.
Early September 2019 was the last decent storm out here. currently very light showers in the area and 16c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Do you remember the incredible November 2020 t-storm? That was impressive not just because it happened in November but for anytime here.

Bones glad your enjoying this Julyuary weather even moldy fudge man made a rare appearance. l guess there's nothing better than hearing ole Gumpy "singing in the rain" while "rain drops keep falling on my head" and "here comes that rainy day feeling again". I vaguely remember that Blueman but l think the underwhelming winter that year muted that event.

I think I've had about half a dozen already this year. Above average for this area, but none have been impressive.

Today has been very underwhelming, though. I've received just 5.4 mm so far.

EC is forecasting 10-15 mm today and another 5-10 mm tonight, but the bulk of it was supposed to fall by now. Radar looks pretty dry.

That's correct Abby sr. I was working in Abby land most of those events. So basically the cells have drifted off the the NW or NE leaving Chilliwack high and dry.

Incidentally Christmas 1980 was warmer than today.

High of 18.2c at YXX on Dec 26, 1980.

Honestly that's how I feel but I need the rain to grow grass for the sheep and horses. Barely got any maybe 2-3 mm, just enough to make everything wet including me. Still had to run the sprinkler on the pasture.
