I just got back from a vacation in Whistler yesterday. It's the first time I had been there as a vacation spot. It's crazy how early things close there haha.

Does that guy post here? Most of his tweets are replies to Chris complaining about the weather.

The weather was a mixed bag on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thursday was pretty decent but I got there after 5. We were getting rain on and off and "heavy rain" at times. Grocery stores were closed by 7-9 PM. Starbucks closes at 5PM. Most restaurant kitchens closed by about 10PM and they basically only served alcohol after that.

Thx for the weather update...sorry about the heavier rain showers you had to endure

Personally, for me It’s felt like summer for a while here. Temperatures have been around 24-27 degrees with lots of sun as of recent. Not heat wave criteria but it doesn’t take a heat wave for it to feel like summer in my opinion. :D

Yes i agree Jr. However, for coastal dwellers, the marine air has kept many of Abby's 24-27C days down around 18-21c instead..feeling Chillier with the breeze and marine clouds. I'm ok with it..so is Bono   So far, and excellent mixture of weather for June and now, half of July. Soon the nights will be getting cooler and earlier, as mid August approaches quickly

I'd say it's been fairly disappointing around here, I guess not a whole lotta rain last cupla weeks, but I don't consider highs of 19-21° summer like. Before you know it summer will be over .

You and your folks going anywhere this summer?

Didn't think it was that bad, main grocery store at whistler north marketplace has always closed around 9pm. Having said that Whistler is having staffing shortages, that main grocery store had their deli dept closed when I was there in the afternoon but it was open in the morning.

I'm surprised you're not at your cabin and fishing in the Similkameenz . Too many bugs?
