Geez some of those graphs are scary. Some have S Puget S going into the low 40's
Looking like the low 30's followed by the mid 30's in the Similkameens for the next 7. The interior is going to dry out in a hurry..take care of those mosquitos i hope

Re: July 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
It will be interesting to see if we reach over 38C again west of Hope. Last year was the first time on record here, so two years in a row would be alarming.
I can handle 35C-38C, but only as long as the humidity isn't too bad. We reached over 37C in July 2007, but it was very dry, so the heat was quite bearable.
July 2009, on the other hand, was in the same temperature range (peaking at 38.0C), but had very high humidity, so it was pretty unpleasant.
Either way, I don't care to experience over 40C again.
It was 27.6C here yesterday. It felt a bit warm in the sun while working on my car.
I'm glad we picked up a bit of rain over the weekend. I added about 9 mm from Fri-Mon for a total of 16.2 mm for the month so far. Every bit helps, but that might be it for this month.

The August 1981 heatwave was relatively humid as well, with temps peaking at 36.2c at YXX but with the dewpoint topping 21c, the humidex peaked at 43c.

Re: July 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Of course it’s going to be hot next week. That’s when I return from spending nearly 4 weeks in the New Mexico desert (family matters, normally would NOT choose to visit this time of year), where it reliably gets broiling hot each and every afternoon.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Like what kind of temps are we talking? In C please. What elevation? Does it cool down substantially at night?Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 8:17 pm Of course it’s going to be hot next week.
