Our dry streak stood at approximately two and a half weeks with no measurable precip before being broken last evening. Usually we see 3-4-5 week stretches in summer.
PS: up to 9.5mm now.
l Had the feeling this summer was going to be different once the wet cool spring lingered on.
However some members thought a 2012 redux was in store l was hesitant TBH. So as it stands who knows what to expect from here on out.
Last week's extended over the hump heatwave has been the only long duration summer event so far.
Considering all other events have been short in duration.
